Visordown on Avon Storm 3D X-M

ALTHOUGH Avon launched its new Storm 3D X-M last summer, the hypersport touring tyre has now been released by the British firm in a wealth of new sizes to fit anything from big trail bikes and sportsbikes, to hypersports and commuters.

The 3D X-M, which stands for 'extra mileage', is a revision of Avon's own Storm and Storm 2 with an emphasis on both increased tyre life and higher levels of grip compared to the previous generation rubber.

Pirelli tyres decided to celebrate the launch of their new range of Night Dragon custom-touring tyres in style - by riding from Venice to Istanbul on Harley-Davidson motorcycles. Adam tests Battlax S20

It's March, the sun is beating down on us and...we're still in the UK? As we board the plane out of Gatwick to take us to Portugal you'd think it was June, all down to a gratefully received bout of high pressure over Blighty. Bridgestone BT-023 Sports Touring tyres by Chris Moss

As all manufacturers do, Bridgestone is making a multitude of claims for its new sports-touring tyre, the BT-023. Amongst the promises for the rubber, which replaces the firm's BT-021, are improved grip and wear, extra stability, and even better mpg and reduced noise. Bolder still is the assurance that the BT-023 is the most advanced sports touring tyre yet, offering sports tyre levels of performance without sacrificing durability.

MC29 Sporty3+ review by Motorcycle Journalist and TV Presenter, Chris Moss

Tyres tested: 130/60P13 and 140/60P13 SAVA MC29 Sporty3+ I have to admit to having some concern about this test. Virtually every scooter I've ridden in the past has had a twitchy, nervous, and edgy feel to it when it gets near its limits - especially the smaller ones.
